For Today -

 Outside my window...howling winds, and heavy rain!

 I am thinking...  how cozy I feel.... a cup of tea, cozy jammies on, and just relaxing after a stressful day at work.

I am thankful for... my husband.  God surely blessed me with this wonderful man!

I am remembering... fun vacations hubby and I have had over the years... with our sons, and alone!  Such precious memories I have!!

On my mind... hubby and I going for his colonoscopy tomorrow morning.

I am pondering these words..."God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of Power, Love and a Sound Mind!"

From the learning rooms.... learning to download and run my Kindle!  I love it!

From the kitchen... all cleaned up and sparkling.

I am wearing...jammies, slippers!!

I am creating... nothing at the time!  :(

I am going... for bloodwork tomorrow as well.

I am reading... just started reading 11/23/63 by Stephen King, on my Kindle.

I am hoping...this week goes by quickly at work.

I am hearing... my husband watching a news special on Joe Paterno.

Around the house... putting some ideas together for our bathroom remodel in the Spring.

One of my favorite things... curled up next to hubby on the couch in the family room, watching old movies!.

A few plans for the rest of the week... tomorrow is full... work the rest of the week, Rosary Prayer group on Wednesday night... the rest.. play it by ear!

For Today -

Outside my window... snow flurries, and strong winds!  I am staying in, visiting friends, and updating my blog!

I am thinking...  of what to make for dinner.  I took out chicken, I may roast it with rosemary and garlic, and some garlic smashed potatoes!!  Yum!!

I am thankful for... Jesus, Mary, my hubby and my children.  Our home, our lives!

I am remembering... laundry to fold and put away.

On my mind... learning my new Kindle that our son Mike and his Kristin got me for Christmas.  Thrilled I can bring it with me everywhere to read!!

I am pondering these words...My New Year Resolution is.....

From the learning rooms.... learning to operate my Kindle.

From the kitchen... nothing yet, but will be preparing dinner soon.

I am wearing...jeans, slippers, a blue long sleeved top.

I am creating... nothing.

I am going...to make an ambrosia salad tonight to take to my sil for dinner tomorrow.

I am reading... The Perfect Christmas.. on my Kindle!!

I am hoping...that winter will continue to be on the mild side.  I am definitely not looking forward to ice.

I am hearing...hubby is puttering on his laptop, and sorting thru last year's bills etc.  Mike is playing a game on his computer, and the fan blowing in the the fireplace.  Cozy.

Around the house... we have finished taking down all the Christmas decorations, both inside and out.  It is a major job, both putting up and taking down.  3 trees, and LOTS of decorations.

One of my favorite things... a thermos of hot coffee, and hubby and I packing a lunch and going for a ride on a cold day.

A few plans for the rest of the week...a visit with our financial adviser on Wed., dinner at my bil and sil tomorrow night, the rest... play it by ear!  LOL

Outside my window... since daylight savings time... it's cold and dark!

I am thinking... how I would love a nice hot cup of Lady Grey tea!!

I am thankful for... my husband, my sons, my granddaughter, my job!

I am remembering...how days seemed to go on forever when I was younger, now they pass in the blink of an eye!

On my mind... getting organized for the holidays.

I am pondering these words... Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name

From the kitchen... all cleaned up from dinner, so nice!!

I am wearing... jeans, and a blue top, still dressed from work.

I am creating... a knitted pillow cover for our bed.

I am going... to clean the bathroom upstairs before DWTS.

I am reading... 90 minutes in heaven.

I am hoping... it's an easier day tomorrow at work then it was today!

I am hearing...quiet, the house is quiet, all I can hear is my typing on the keyboard.

Around the house... getting ready to put Thanksgiving decorations out.

One of my favorite things... the smell of a wood fire on a cold night!

A few plans for the rest of the week... Dr's visits, starting Thanksgiving shopping.

Outside my window... it's overcast and cloudy.  Rain is expected today, some with thunder and lightening.
I am thinking... I need to get busy with cleaning the bathrooms and doing laundry.
I am thankful for... this healing time at home.
I am remembering... how much I hate cleaning the bathrooms!  LOL
On my mind... my apples are ready on our tree, I want to make some apple crisp.
I am pondering these words... trust me, I know which way we are going!
From the learning rooms....I am so learning how much I trust my Lord and savior, Jesus!  Thank you for all my blessings Lord!
From the kitchen... all cleaned up from breakfast.
I am wearing... blue capri's and a yellow Tshirt.
I am creating... nothing at this time.
I am going... to get started with the downstairs bathroom when I am done.
I am reading...nothing at this time.
I am hoping... I get all my cleaning done.  I am imspired by Judy!
I am hearing...  just the sound of my typing, it's quiet here right now.
Around the house... hubby has gone to the bank, son Sandy is gone to work, and son Mike is getting ready to leave for work.
One of my favorite things... coffee in the gazebo.
A few plans for the rest of the week... a visit to the Farmers Market if it doesn't rain, the rest of the week isn't planned yet.

Outside my window... it's steamy hot, and we are to get severe thunderstorms again.
I am thinking... I am tired of waiting on this phone call from my insurance!
I am thankful for... having Jesus and Mary in my life.
I am remembering... the trip we recently took to Amish country.
On my mind... worrying about this insurance.
I am pondering these words... "leave a message and I will immediately return your call".
From the kitchen... just cleaned corn on the cob, and prepared hamburgers for the grill...an easy dinner on a hot day!
I am wearing...jean shorts, and a green top.
I am creating... nothing.
I am going... to scream if this call doesn't come thru soon.

I am hoping... what I am praying for comes thru.
I am hearing... the lawnmower, and me typing.
